Marni Melrose – Innovator, Entrepreneur, and Technologist Marni Melrose is a dynamic entrepreneur, technologist, and business strategist with a deep-rooted passion for innovation and empowering others. With a career spanning decades, she has left a significant mark in fields ranging from technology consulting to digital marketing and artificial intelligence. Early Career and Apple Leadership Marni’s fascination with technology began at age 11, when she walked into a RadioShack store where she decided that when she grew up, she would, “be in computers”. She mastered programming in C++ out of high school. In 1991, she joined Apple, as a technician quickly ascending the ranks to become a Service Manager at 23. Founding “Mac Angel” and Daylite Expertise After a 9 year hiatus traveling the world with her husband, she returned to tech as an Apple Genius in 2001. This role marked the foundation of her expertise in creating seamless tech experiences for businesses and individuals. Leveraging her knowledge, a year later she left Apple and Marni founded XGenius, which later became “MacAngel” a consultancy that gained international recognition as a top expert in implementing Marketcircle’s Daylite CRM for Mac. She authored influential guides, such as Migrating from Daylite 3 to Daylite 4, and developed educational resources to simplify complex workflows for business owners. Her contributions earned her the nickname “The Mac Angel” and positioned her as a trailblazer in productivity solutions. Transition to Podio and Digital Marketing As technology evolved, Marni transitioned her expertise to Citrix’s Podio, becoming “The Podio Angel,” where she continued to optimize workflows for business owners. Her marketing acumen led her into the digital marketing space, managing significant Google ad budgets and driving impactful campaigns for various clients. Entrepreneurial Ventures and AI Integration Her last venture, REVcrm, focused on implementing AI-powered sales, marketing, and customer service solutions for businesses. Marni has always been ahead of the curve, embracing AI before the mainstream. She developed chatbots, created her proprietary productivity system Capture What Matters, and founded EntireTask, a startup recognized by the inaugural Startup San Diego Incubator program. Financial Expertise and Trading Marni has also established herself as a financial educator, sharing her binary options trading strategies through YouTube and personal coaching. She leads a vault on Hyperliquid where she uses AI to help her trade. Her trading journal software and insights into crypto futures trading demonstrate her ability to distill complex topics into actionable advice. Personal Legacy and Vision As the daughter of Cecilia Wilder and granddaughter of Earl Alonza Wilder, Marni carries forward a legacy of entrepreneurship and innovation. Her family history includes shaping iconic locations like Fairmont Hot Springs and Tabor Mountain Ski Resort, and Marni’s work reflects the same pioneering spirit.
